We are an accessible, family friendly, well-stocked hideaway in the country that has super quick access to all restaurants / shopping and other city amenities. If you need a date that is blocked or a short stay, please ask. We sometimes block dates for repeat guests and friends that may change. Tiny house is on site to rent for extra guests when available.

Staying here is like a visiting your Mamaw's house. It's simple, old fashioned decor is family friendly. The big front porch is a perfect place to sit with your coffee and watch the birds and butterflies, which are plentiful. Located adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest, we also have many deer and other critters in the woods behind the house. There are no visible neighbors, access is by a dirt road. Star gazing here is amazing! It's also only 30 minutes to either Crockett or Lufkin.

This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Along with great views, we have a country feel only 6 miles from town. We are located near Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and Lake Sam Rayburn. Enjoy the stocked pond, fire pit, grill, and gazebo.
