Casa Sal e Vento, Sea Views

Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 25-30 min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars/cafés and boutiques.

The layout of the house was maintained but the spaces were redesigned in order to make it comfortable, practical and functional. The decoration of the space was inspired by regional tradition and sustainability. This flat has been our holiday home on the beach since 1990. In 2021 it was completely renovated and now has a spacious bathroom with natural light, a bedroom with good storage and an open-plan living room and kitchen with direct access to the garden, barbecue and pool. Alagoa beach, Altura's main beach, is just 900 metres away, about 5 minutes on foot. The Altura Market, the supermarkets Pingo Doce, Aldi and Intermarché and several terraces are about 3 minutes walk away.
