There are many beautiful villages in the area with markets and entertainment. I am sure you will enjoy it.

A wonderful stay at Château de Paraize: staying in the French countryside with beautiful views of the horses in the fields. The river Allier is within walking distance, enjoy beautiful nature, old towns, wine estates, markets with good food or flea markets. Or bbq with us at Paraize itself, participate in a wine tasting in the old wine cellar by candlelight, or just enjoy the campfire.

On the first level of an Art Deco villa, this studio (room with double bed, table, work table, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower) bathed in light directly overlooks Napoleon III Park which runs along the banks of the Allier.
