The Wren House is within walking distance of local lakeside attractions such as PM Park; the Tiki Bar; and the Ritz beach, shelter house and boat ramp (lake access that's much less crowded than city and state beach). Its only a 3 minute drive to Clear Lake State Park's trails, beach and picnic areas and less than 10 minutes to get downtown to spend time at the seawall, city beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. The cottage is quaint but very comfortable and stocked with all the trip essentials

The property is a cozy remodeled 1920’s farmhouse. It has all of the amenities of home and is blocks from Clear Lake, downtown Clear Lake and The Surf Ballroom. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is ideal for adults and children over 7 and the home features a blend of midcentury modern and modern furnishings. It has fireplaces in the living room and in the master bedroom. The downstairs bathroom boasts a triangular soaking tub/shower combo and the upstairs master bathroom has a shower.

This barn refinished into a rustic cabin will give you the feeling that you are in the middle of the woods while having the convenience of being in town. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. 1 block from the lake for kayak, biking and walking along with being 1 block from the Mayo Clinic hospital. Grab lunch at Jakes pizza and maybe supper at the 112 On Broadway. For those that would like to workout Snap fitness is a block south. The apartment is on the main level making it easy to access, there is a 4 inch step. Discounts for weekly (15%) and monthly (35%) stays. Cot added to bedroom closet.

Have coffee on deck overlooking a pasture with the two miniature (little ones can sit on them) ponies and the friendly llama that begs for carrots. The pigmy goats love to eat weeds you feed them. The house and barn were built in 1880 by Norwegian immigrants Ole and Britta.
