Karins’ place is awesome with everything you need for a trip to Dublin. The place is spotless clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Communication with Karin was great, she even brought us some cake to welcome us. We definitely recommend staying with Karin and would love to come back some time. Thanks again!
Céline2020-03-09T00:00:00ZWelcoming homely apartment that makes you feel like you're part of Dublin. The location is ideal as not far in walking distance to everything but with the period history that modern hotels don't offer.
Andrew2020-03-05T00:00:00ZAmazing stay at Karin’s. The flat is super well located, suuper clean, with lots of amenities. We loved the breakfast!
Elizabeth2020-03-01T00:00:00ZKarin's place perfectly suited our needs - a central location, cool Georgian flat and very comfortable! We'll hopefully be back again soon!
Marcus2020-02-23T00:00:00ZA lovely place that's walk able to many great restaurants.
Todd2020-02-20T00:00:00ZOur stay with Karin was truly amazing. The property is beautiful and has oodles of character and charm. It is well situated within a 15/20 minute walk of all the action depending on where you want to go. Karin was a fount of knowledge and was a joy to talk to. Her tips for Dublin and the house history were outstanding and added to the enjoyment of staying in such a grand old building. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Do not expect all the latest mod cons, this is a period property and this forms part of its wonderful charm - and we did not want or need for anything that wasn’t there. There was a small issue with the hot water, but Karin dealt with this swiftly and very apologetically. Nothing was too much for Karin. This is a fantastic base for a weekend away. I would 100% recommend this to any friend and we will be returning ourselves in the future.
Dane2020-02-10T00:00:00ZExcellent location, charming room and above all else a very friendly and helpful host.

We had a wonderful stay at Karin’s Airbnb. It is a beautiful room which felt very homely and luxurious. There were lots of extra touches that made our stay wonderful. The extra camp bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this Airbnb if you want somewhere cosy to retreat to when exploring Dublin.
Adrienne2020-03-02T00:00:00ZWe can’t recommend this Air BnB enough! Fast response, the space was more than we imagined. Jackie guided us and gave us helpful tips. The house is BEAUTIFUL and obviously loved. Our only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.
Hannah2020-02-29T00:00:00ZThere are some AirBnB's that are like unicorns: so rare, that they are almost thought to be mythical. Karin's offerings are unicorns. Absolutely perfectly set in Dublin: walkable to practically everywhere and right on the bus line for everything else. Restaurants and cafe's, museums, and parks are all right on the doorstep. The accommodations are beyond the realm in warmth and welcoming. It was like being welcomed home to a place I had just arrived at: beautiful art works, comfortable bed, well-stocked pantry, and a fireplace. A working fireplace. The windows overlooked a beautiful square and did I mention a fireplace. It was all I could do to leave the apartment to go look around Dublin. I can't wait to return and hope everyone can experience the warm hospitality of Karin and one her her perfectly appointed offerings.
Gunnydog2020-02-14T00:00:00ZA really charming, characterful apartment in a good location with all the expected mod-cons. Karin was a great host, thank you.
Maeve2020-02-09T00:00:00ZI had a lovely and comfortable stay here! This location is also an easy walk to the heart of Dublin! There are several pubs within walking distance as well for safe night time drinking. I would love to come back and stay here again. Karin provides a thorough guide to the city and it made it very easy for me to navigate and figure out what I wanted to do. I would suggest that you bring your own towels if you prefer cotton towels. Karin kindly provides towels but they may be a bit scratchy for some. I chose this Airbnb mainly because it has a kitchen and it was such a good idea! I packed some canned goods and some bread and I was set for meals, which was especially helpful coming straight off the plane. Karin provides eggs and condiments as well as tea, which was very thoughtful and helped me out so much! Remember to close the wooded curtains for the large window, as it helps keep the apartment warm at night and not waste gas.
Christina2020-01-19T00:00:00ZKarin’s oval apartments are even more gorgeous than pictured. More than that, Karin is the consummate host. She’ll leave food for you in the fridge, recommendations for places to eat and things to do, and she’ll check in to make sure you have everything you need. We would happily stay with her again on a future trip to Dublin!
Francesca2020-01-14T00:00:00ZFabulous stay! We had such good fun exploring Dublin from here! Check in was super simple and the flat had everything we could need, including a lovely welcome pack. Great local tips including one society for brunch and mr Fox for fancy dinner! We hope to be back!
Laurence2020-01-12T00:00:00ZThe Georgian Rooms are a very special find in the gem of Mountjoy Square. Under ten minutes walk from O'Connell Street, beautifully appointed and, in Karin, a delightful host . We certainly intend to return as soon as possible.

Me, my husband, and 2 of our friends stayed here for 7 days and it was just perfect! This is truly an amazing location. We were able to walk to many places in the city! And was very close to the pick up spots for the day tours leaving from Dublin! The amount of space you get for the money you spend is worth every bit of it! Thanks Liam for everything!
Jessica2020-03-01T00:00:00ZLiam’s place is beautiful! Everything was so clean and check in was super easy! Would definitely stay here again.

The added touch of the cafetière and fresh coffee for the morning was much appreciated. Thanks again :)
Kate2020-01-28T00:00:00ZThe space is as exactly as described, with everything you could need for a long stay. Central spot with plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee nearby. Victoria2020-02-18T00:00:00ZA gem in a most beautiful house set in one of Dublin's finest Georgian squares. The flat was excellent, being exactly as described. You looking for a perfect place in Dublin? Stop looking RIGHT HERE. This review needs nothing else.
John2020-03-01T00:00:00ZDardo’s clean and stylish loft was the perfect location for us to base ourself in Dublin for our city adventures and near bus pick up stops for our incredible day trips. You are really right in the heart of the city center. That being said, you do get city noise especially on Fridays and Saturdays so if that bothers you, ear plugs worked just fine! There were ample pubs, restaurants, shopping and other services very close by. Dardo was a great host and was very responsive to our questions and was prompt with our key pick up. Couldn’t ask for a better host and we appreciated his recommendations! Thanks again Dardo for allowing us to use your space! We already want to plan a trip back!
Kelli2020-02-26T00:00:00ZDardo communicated really well throughout and was really accommodating with us. We landed into Dublin quite early and we were able to drop off our bags straight away which gave us time to explore. The apartment is in a perfect location and is very clean and tidy. We felt really secure as well as the access and security to the building was very good. The apartment was very spacious and we felt very comfortable there.
Simon2020-02-19T00:00:00ZVery nice place, amazing location!
Chester2020-02-08T00:00:00ZDardo’s place was amazing! Perfect perfect perfect location, very clean, great communication! Will be staying here again in the future!

Brilliant clean flat within walking distance to everything! Modern, stylish design with everything needed to cook in. Liam went above and beyond with a map showing local bars / cafes / shops within walking distance to the flat. There were four of us staying between the double and sofa bed; both did the job but I think it would be much comfier for two staying than than four, as the springs in the sofa bed could be felt by the second night. Overall a great flat and location we will use again!
Fleur2020-02-23T00:00:00ZThe apartment is very well located and within walking distance to Temple Bar and many other attractions. For those who are concerned about Dublin’s cold weather, the heating was excellent. The sofa bed is comfortable and the apartment is in a quiet place you can enjoy but just beside all that this wonderful capital has to offer. Liam is an excellent host and responded to our requests right away. I’ll definitively stay here again next time and recommend it.
Ana Lúcia2020-02-07T00:00:00ZBeat location we could have ever hoped for.
David2020-02-03T00:00:00ZLovely apartment within walking distance of all of Dublin’s attractions
Ryan2020-01-22T00:00:00ZLiam's place is in the perfect location, its clean, its really good for families (double pushchairs can even fit in the lift and the front door of the apartment). The kitchen is easy to use. Thanks for everything Liam.
Simarjeet2020-01-15T00:00:00ZReally Nice flat with all the amenities and a really Nice location!
Agustín2020-01-08T00:00:00ZThe place was very well equipped. It even comes equipped with a baby cot, high chair, washer, dryer and dish washer. I love the kitchen as you can find the equipment you need to make a simple meal. The location was very good. It was only 15 min walk away from the shopping district. Within just 3 min walk, you can find a few nice restaurants and a convenience store. The place is clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if we go to Dublin again.

I can only second everything I read in the reviews: this spot was stylish, comfortable and a lot of fun for our first few nights in Dublin! It was so much fun coming back to this place after our exploration of the city by foot. Karin is a professional hostess and had everything we needed covered.
Alyssa2020-03-13T00:00:00ZCozy studio about 20-30 minute walk from downtown. Very impressive and beautiful older building with a warm and classic design.
Ben2020-03-11T00:00:00ZGreat stay for a long weekend in Dublin. The apartment is very good!
Louis2020-02-23T00:00:00ZKarin's apartment was a fantastic home during my week in Dublin. The room was exactly as described and check in was made very easy by instructions sent by Karin ahead of time, including transit options from the airport. The location is great, the room is comfortable and cozy with a fully stocked kitchen. Karin even made sure to refund me when the hot water heater had a bit of an issue the first night, which was very appreciated. She really strives to make sure her guests are comfortable, and I would definitely stay again.
Lauren2020-02-18T00:00:00Z👍👍👍
Γιώργος2020-02-09T00:00:00ZVery good stay, We recommend this atypical and warm accommodation. Thanks to Karin for her availability.
Sam2020-01-26T00:00:00ZGreat studio apartment, the spacious and everything you could need for a weekend getaway. Karin went above and beyond, allowing a late check out and delivering warm fresh banana on Saturday morning as well as having the fridge stocked with fresh juice, eggs, milk and muesli. Positives were - spacious, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, light and airy, warm, easy to get to buses and bikes right across the road (which you can rent for about 3€ for 72 hours and was a great way to get around), easy communication with host, easy check in/out and ability to store bags after check out. Only potential downsides were it was slightly loud street noise (still slept well though, but may be issue if you were a light sleeper) and a little bit out of main tourist attractions (Ie 15-20min walk; or easy bus/cycle) but this did not particularly bother us much as very easy city to get around and many positives of the place definitely compensated. Would 100% stay again and recommend to a friend.
Rosie2020-01-19T00:00:00ZKarin was a wonderful host! She’s very prompt to respond, polite, caring, thoughtful. She truly cares about her guests and making them happy. I can’t say enough nice things about the wonderful host. Karin was actually kind enough to help me plan my last minute Ireland itinerary and I had the best time!!!!! The place is really cute, lots of amenities, there were even breakfast items, soaps, very thoughtful of the host to arrange. It’s a very cozy apartment, in a great location walking distance to public transportation and close to great shops, restaurants, bars. You have to visit The Celt!!!!

Unreal spot will defo be back Barry is a top man 🤝
Jamie2020-03-10T00:00:00ZThis is one of the best AirBnB's that I've ever stayed in, and completely represents everything that is great about this platform - a unique space, in a beautiful location, hosted by a genuinely friendly and welcoming person. The place is exactly as described - it is right on the water and the doors and windows frame the lake beautifully and make it feel like the lake is all yours. Barry is a great host - on hand for anything we needed! Can't recommend this place enough.
Tim2020-03-09T00:00:00ZIt’s a lovely spot right beside Lough Derg. Very peaceful and calm. The place is cosy and clean. The only issue I found is that the cabin isn’t very private. There are blinds on most windows but they don’t give much privacy and it’s easy for someone to come around without much warning. Apart from that everything is absolutely great - I would defiantly recommend. A very relaxing little spot.
Dora2020-03-08T00:00:00ZThis is a lovely spot to while away a few days and get away from it all. It's a bird watchers paradise, even has a resident kingfisher. If you get up early enough you will see him close up along with the sunrise over the lake. Magical. Barry is the perfect host and lives behind so all your needs are well looked after. If you have a canoe or stand up it's an ideal spot to get on this beautiful stretch of water. The stove in the evening is really cosy and the boathouse has everything you need. Be aware that the climb up and down to the mezzanine bed is short but properly vertical. Fine for the average person. I loved the time I spent there and have it on my list to go back.
Orla2020-03-06T00:00:00ZLittle house in dream about the lake. Waking up in the morning overlooking the lake and the coast on the other side and falling asleep to the sound of the water next to the wood burning fireplace. A true haven of peace and tranquility. In addition Barry worried that we were at all times at ease, he left us with fresh firewood and recommendations on places to visit. Thanks Barry for your kindness !!
Paula2020-02-25T00:00:00ZBarry's spot on the Lough Derg is a dream! So idyllic! Barry and his Mam's hospitality was great too! They kindly gave us a lift to the local pub one of the nights and Barry arranged a lift for us off a neighbour on the way home. It was a lovely tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Dublin.
Orla2020-02-23T00:00:00ZPop's dream was absolutely incredible. If you like seclusion and an incredible view this little spot is just the place. We had an absolute fantastic time and only wish we could've stayed longer!
Matthew2020-02-19T00:00:00ZNice little spot for a romantic getaway. Quaint and peaceful. Getting up the stairs was a bit tricky. Barry is a lovely chap and was very welcoming as was his mum. Would recommend to anyone.

Liza2020-03-03T00:00:00ZWe loved Kylemore Hideaway! We could not get over how beautiful the views were from all sides of the cottage. The peat stove was lovely and the cottage was always warm. The proximity to Kylemore Abbey, Letterfrack and Tullycross was fantastic. Would love to visit again.
Dani2020-02-26T00:00:00ZBeautiful cottage , sparkling clean and idyllic. Cottage has everything you could need and Triona is a wonderful house. We had two small children with us and everything we needed was provided, house was very suitable for young children.
Fina2020-02-12T00:00:00ZTriona’s cottage is a magical haven in the countryside of Ireland and the best Airbnb I have stayed at yet. From the wood stove to the charming kitty and picturesque views— everyday was memorable there and we cannot wait to visit again! Thanks for making this such a fantastic trip for us!
Annie2020-01-27T00:00:00ZThe location of the cottage is stunning and the cottage itself is absolutely spotless. It's incredibly warm and cosy and very peaceful. Triona and Rory are excellent hosts and were available at any time for any queries. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Odette2020-01-20T00:00:00ZBeautiful cottage with stunning surroundings. We came down for a relaxing weekend before returning to work after Christmas Holidays and it was much more than what we anticipated. The cottage itself is kitted our with everything from turf, wifi, kitchen facilities to shampoo and a hairdryer; we needed for nothing. We arrived late and Triona had the fire lit for us on arrival as the weather was awful. The views from the cottage are breath taking. We walked up the hills and the photos do not do it any justice. We contemplated not leaving we loved it that much. We’ve already talked about returning. Triona was an outstanding host and communication was 110%. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, we can’t wait to return

The bed in this place is so so clean! The communication was amazing and very easy to follow:) Its right in the city center had we stayed longer that would have been amazing to take advantage of its right across from the theatre if that’s your jam and the cafe below it had great smoothies. It’s 15ish mins from the airport super quick. Jezz what more can I say it was such a nice stay! Thank you so much for having us!
Laura2020-03-10T00:00:00ZAmazing location! The purpose of our trip was to see Lewis Capaldi at the 3Arena and the apartment was within walking distance which made everything so much easier! The cafe right next door “Lily’s” has fab food and made the location all the better and the info left was very helpful. The apartment itself was immaculate and the overall design was refreshing. Would highly recommend staying with Jen as it was relaxing to come and go as you please👌🏼
Natasha2020-03-09T00:00:00ZThis is a great, cosy little studio/bed-sit that is perfect for a long-weekend getaway. The flat is in a great spot in Dublin, with plenty of shops/cafes nearby, and a short walk from Temple Bar. It also is very close to the bus stop you'll arrive at when you travel to and from the airport. Jen was speedy with communication and gave us a really great list of places to eat and things to do. The only note I'd add is be to ready for the early birdsong of gulls around 5-6AM. It didn't bother us too much, and to be honest I imagine it's a common thing in Dublin! Fully recommended and would stay here again.
Dougal2020-03-08T00:00:00ZLovely stay in Dublin. Within walking distance of most attractions. Comfortable stay.
Leith2020-02-23T00:00:00ZWe loved staying at Jen’s place! It was in a great location and she left us with lots of suggestions of places to go and things to do! The communication was above and beyond! Paula2020-03-12T00:00:00ZIt was even better than we expected. We couldn’t stop oohing and aahing at all of the neat architecture and details. Peter and Eva were so kind and welcoming. This place was definitely the highlight of our trip to Ireland.
Kristen2020-03-11T00:00:00ZPete's castle is definitely not to be missed! Pete and Eva are excellent hosts and fantastic people, and the castle is so much fun. Do yourself a favor and book at least one night if it is available during your holiday timeframe!
Alicia2020-03-09T00:00:00ZI can't remember exactly where I came across this castle ABnB, but I am so glad I did!! We booked a few months in advance to ensure we wouldn't miss out. Our stay here was not only one of the best parts of our time in Galway, but a highlight on our entire holiday in Ireland. We had everything we needed. The rooms and beds clean & comfortable. Despite being surrounded by stone, you will feel warm & cozy here. Peter was an amazing host and prompt in all of or communications. He, also, happened to be a joy to speak with.
Jessica2020-03-06T00:00:00ZTo experience the friendliness and heritage of Ireland, you have to stay here at Pete’s Castle. What an amazing experience and Pete is a wonderful host.
Tabitha2020-03-05T00:00:00ZAll I can say is just that this is a must, what an amazing experience & treat, just go !! You will not regret it. About Pete ,his passion & dedication to this castle is something I simply cannot describe. It is truly humbling. Pete is very interesting & you could listen to his stories about his love for the castle .The work he has put into it is phenomenal. About the castle :From a ruin, he turned it into something so magical , so intriguing, quirky & fascinating. Myself and my daughter only had one night there , which was not enough for us , try do 2 at least if you can. I can only rate it as probably THE most interesting place I ve ever stayed. Every detail , & consideration will have you spellbound . Trust me & go book it right now . Thank you Pete & Eva for the magic !

I absolutely adored my time at Fidelma's! She was very welcoming and communicative. The place was super comfortable, very clean, and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed having the kitchen as well. Mary2020-03-02T00:00:00ZA lovely cute stay away from the hustle and bustle. Easy use of the bus services. Super comfy own space, better than a generic hotel.
Wendy2020-02-22T00:00:00ZA lovely place to stay in a great location for exploring Dublin. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious and exactly what we needed for our mini break.
Lisa2020-02-18T00:00:00ZBeautiful and cozy accommodation, romantic and welcoming.
Adél2020-02-14T00:00:00ZThis little place was great. It was a little hard to find just because the street signs in Ireland are not that clear and our GPS wasn’t quite working yet but once we got our bearings it was easy. Fidelma has created a little oasis in her back yard. We enjoyed a nice quiet stay, walking distance to a full service grocery store to buy what you need to prepare some simple meals. She had coffee, tea, and other basics in the kitchen of this little house. We picked up a leap card for the bus at the close by shopping center to ride the number 9 bus into town every day for a little bit of a savings on our bus fare - $2.50 v $3 each way. The bust stop was literally just around the corner. Check in was easy, she was in contact with us the whole time, the bed was comfortable and the place was cute and clean. Geoffrey2020-02-05T00:00:00ZSuper service
Joanie2020-02-01T00:00:00ZWe loved our stay here. The hotel is stunning from the exterior and has a homeliness to it inside. The staff and management run it in a very communal way with free scones and Prosecco helping to get guests together in one space and create a great atmosphere. They took a picture of us at dinner one night and printed it off as a free gift. Little things like that make all the difference and we loved the vibe they try to create in their space. The location is ideal if you are trying to move around different parts of Connemara. The only small complaint I’d have is the shower we had was not powerful at all and we had to use the bath hose which was inconvenient
David2019-12-29T00:00:00ZThis place is incredibly special. Lots of personal attention. I can’t praise this place enough.

An amazing space in stunning scenery. Get away from everything with no phone signal just we needed. Space is amazing with everything you could need and the Spotify playlists are amazing!
Nathan2020-03-08T00:00:00ZWe have stayed in Donegal many times over the course of 30+ years and this is by far the best place either of us has ever stayed. Anna and Pete are the perfect hosts; enthusiastic, warm and friendly. The wood burning stove was lit before our arrival, so the cottage was cosy, even in 2 degrees! The cottage exceeded all of our expectations; far bigger than it seemed from the pictures, super cosy, spotlessly clean and full of character. The views from the cottage are incredible, even with snow, storms, hailstones, and lightening! We loved staying here, cooking, listening to music, drinking wine, taking drives to spectacular wild beaches, and enjoying watching the ever changing weather from the comfort of this cosy little cottage. We will definitely be back.
Laura2020-03-01T00:00:00ZFantastic little place in Co. Donegal. Pete was an excellent host, and talked us through everything that the cottage had to offer. Even in February it was a great place to stay, and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway away from the world. Thank you Pete and Anna!
Adele2020-02-28T00:00:00ZWe loved our stay! Cosy and comfortable with lovely personal touches. Stunning scenery. Pete and Anna were warm and welcoming. Also very accommodating and flexible - communication was great! Highly recommend for couples/friends looking for quiet get away in rural Ireland.
Naomi2020-02-26T00:00:00ZYou read the reviews and have an idea in your head what to expect but Pete and Anna will blow them out of the water. You couldn’t ask for more hospitable hosts. The cottage is so cosy and ab escape from the outside world. From books and DVDs to Spotify playlists made for you, Pete and Anna thought of everything!
Laura2020-02-23T00:00:00ZBeautiful place to escape to. With no phone signal its amazing to just take in the mountain area inside the cozy cottage.
Tracy2020-02-15T00:00:00ZWe had a great stay in the cottage. It more than matched our expectations, of a cozy get away in February!
Katie2020-02-03T00:00:00ZOne of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Anna + Pete are the perfect hosts, quick with local advice, firewood and bottled water, and friendly chat. The views from the cottage are incredible, even with thunderstorms and heavy snow! The space is far bigger than we anticipated, with wood burner, electric shower, and all kitchen amenities we needed. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Tom2020-03-01T00:00:00ZWe were so impressed with this cosy and really well equipped cabin, with its stunning views and thoughtful little touches such as plenty of books and an iPod with speakers to listen to music. The cabin has everything you could need to have a relaxing stay - even in the snow we managed to stay toasty warm with the fire burning. Also really enjoyed a long walk in the nearby Glenveagh National Park and a lovely pint of Guinness in the local pub in Fintown. Really hope to be back in the future!
Alice2020-02-25T00:00:00ZWe had the most amazing time here! Pete and Anna couldn't have been more welcoming and had thought of every little detail. The views are spectacular and sitting in front of the wood burner was bliss especially with the hail and rain outside. We will certainly be back 😁
Rebekah2020-02-21T00:00:00ZA little piece of creative beauty, carefully crafted in the natural beauty of the Co.Donegal landscape. A credit to its owners. Shay2020-03-13T00:00:00ZThe pictures don't do this location justice. Eanan was quick to respond to my messages, and the directions for how to find and access the tower were very clear. Everything was clean and orderly, and waking up early to watch the sunrise over the surrounding area on the very top floor was magical. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if you are planning to be in Ireland!
Michelle2020-03-09T00:00:00ZTower has special atmosphere the moment you drive to it, it is pure & beautiful experience for weekend getaway from busy week lifestyle. 10/10!! We would love to come back, and we recommend it to anyone who would like to experience the feeling of waking up feeling like a queen or king!!
Julijana2020-03-08T00:00:00ZWOW! if you get the chance to stay here do it! Really a step away from the busy world into your own sweet romantic fairytale feel. We had the best time, and the sweetest memories we will keep from this beautiful home! And bonus there were three ADORABLE doggies playing around the property and there is food places very close by as well:)
Rachel2020-03-03T00:00:00ZOur stay at the tower was everything we had hoped for and more. Eanon was very easy to communicate with and I was confident that they would be available if we had needed to contact them. The tower was described accurately, beautifully renovated with historical charm. We experienced quite a storm while we were there and felt prepared from our host that we should have groceries, keep warm and there may be leaks from the age of the tower. The bed was cozy and the library was a dream. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, especially when we were not as prepared as we thought and was able to make some pasta. The animals on the property were friendly and made missing our dogs a bit easier. The location is ideal for a couple to have a relaxing trip and anything you need is within a 15 minute drive.
Marissa2020-03-02T00:00:00ZThe Drummond Tower was exactly as advertised, a super unique experience in an awesome tower! We had a great time exploring the area. The blustery weather outside only made our stay that much more cozy. I would highly recommend a stay here!

José2020-02-25T00:00:00ZDrummond Tower is a fantastic, unique place to stay. We arrived during quite stormy weather and it just added to the overall feel of the place. Eanan was a fantastic host, answering queries very promptly and going as far as contacting us after we had checked out. It is very clean, cosy and comfortable, with a lot of really nice touches. I would echo other reviewers though - if you have difficulty using stairs, this is not the place for you. Thanks Eanan for a fantastic stay!

Mike2020-03-09T00:00:00ZBest place we have stayed in for a long time! It is compact but for the two of us, more than big enough for a weekend’s stay. The thoughtful touches made our stay in Dublin so much easier. When you are flying in, to have some food such as bread, eggs and milk as well as shampoo/conditioner, even foil for packed lunches, makes the world of difference. Very clean and nice decor too. Thanks Donna.

Martin2020-01-30T00:00:00ZFor a stay in Dublin (especially for a convenient, travel-friendly brief stay), this flat was perfect. I’ve stayed here twice and each time has been absolutely pleasant; first time was me and a friend and second was me and my sister, so the flat was good for two people to stay in: Quiet, bright neighborhood and a short walk to groceries, coffee, etc. The room is very comfortable, nice privacy, and Donna is a friendly, helpful, and professional host. Easy check in and check out. 100% recommend, especially if seeking a place to stay close to the airport. A fairly cheap, 10/15 minute taxi ride and you’re there. Seamless and enjoyable. Not difficult or too expensive to get a taxi to the city center to spend the day out and about. Thanks for everything!!!

This was our absolute favorite place we stayed on our 9 day trip around Ireland. There are so many sweet touches that makes this treehouse magical. The croissants in the morning were warm and delicious. The bathroom has a heater which was fabulous because it was cold when we stayed. The view is also amazing! If you’re weary about staying here, don’t be. It is awesome!! Also, Richard was very responsive and helpful with our late arrival and extended our check out time because it was not nice out.

David2020-03-13T00:00:00ZFantastic location close to Largy and Killybegs. Only 2minutes walk to the beach front. Plenty of areas to explore in the area and Tom and Sylvia provided lots of local information on where we might like to visit. The cottage had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay and the extra added touches including slippers etc were great! The cottage was spotlessly clean and well kept. One of our favorite spots. Can't beat the ambiance!!! Absolutely stunning!!
Chantel2020-03-14T00:00:00ZThis is a unique place to stay that you will remember as a highlight of your trip. The host is friendly, quick to respond and goes out of his way to make you comfortable. He even baked a tasty loaf of gluten free bread for me. The cottage itself is exceptionally cozy and charming. Our visit coincided with miserable weather but that just added to the allure of sitting by the fire with a good book. In fact, the only downside of staying here is that you might not want to venture out to sightsee. The cottage is also located outside of town in a beautiful "secret" garden, so you have to drive to restaurants. That was only a small minus given the peaceful setting. The pictures can't possibly capture the quaintness of the place.
Jackie2020-03-12T00:00:00ZIf this space is available book it. Narrow road there but worth it! Would gladly make the trip again!
Kevin2020-03-04T00:00:00ZThe cottage is so quaint and pretty. The thatched roof and little stream outside made it picture book gorgeous. Loved the traditional rustic feel inside. Sitting by the open fire on a cold afternoon was a real treat. The bed was comfortable. Getting in to Galway city centre was very easy by taxi. We had a lovely stay. For longer next time!
Diana2020-02-24T00:00:00ZUnique and special space. Authentic Irish cottage filled with good energy, nostalgia, and charm. Very kind and helpful hosts. We loved our time here and will remember it for years to come.

William is a wonderful host, responding quickly to questions and requests. He is a great resource of knowledge about things to do in the area and appreciates and enjoys the natural beauty of the mountain adjacent to the property and parks beyond. The renovated barn is rustic but comfortable and is a great retreat for the solo traveler; although it could also be the perfect place for a couple to spend some quality time together.
Theodore2020-03-06T00:00:00ZBeautiful views and a cozy space.
Maggie2020-02-24T00:00:00ZThe Barn was exactly what I expected to find and the perfect spot for my solo-retreat. It was cozy and in the perfect location to go on hikes on the hills behind. William was very attentive in case I needed anything and gave me a tour of Connemara that included all the important spots.
Cathy2020-02-22T00:00:00ZWhat can I even say, there are no words to describe the feeling we had when we arrived at William's place. It feels as if the cottage is located on the edge of the world, hidden behind the beautiful mountains of Connemara. The Air BnB itself was wonderful, it's your very own hobbit house in the middle of nowhere. The fireplace was ready to burn, and William made sure to give us some great recommendations, like eating a seafood chowder at John J. Burke's Bar & Restaurant (MUST TRY!). Don't forget to just relax and take in the breathtaking views of Connemara, while hiking or just driving around. Would highly recommend!
Lefteri2020-01-29T00:00:00ZHad a lovely weekend with my partner at William’s cottage. Excellent location for hiking and a quiet weekend by the fire. Would definitely recommend!

William was a great host, very quick to respond to any questions and quickly available if you needed anything.
Aislinn2020-01-10T00:00:00ZRemote, wild and utterly stunning location.
Simon2020-01-03T00:00:00ZOur stay in William's cottage exceeded all our hopes and expectations! We fell in love with the cottage, the countryside, the charming villages of Clonbur and Cong, and the welcoming people of Joyce Country. The hills, valleys, streams and lakes that surround the cottage are unbelievably beautiful with countless places to hike and hill walk. You will find hikes behind the cottage with breathtaking views of Lough Nafooey, the Finny River, Lough Mask, and the Maumtrasna gorge. William's family has very deep roots in the area, and he has extensive knowledge of virtually every hill walk and hiking trail in the region. In addition, he can tell you some great stories about the history and mythology of Connemara. Some of our most memorable experiences in the area include hiking to Cong through the Clonbur Wood, Wednesday night music at Burke's Pub, coffee and scones at Butler and Byrne in Cong, Diamond Peak, and exploring the Maum Valley. If you are looking for a true Irish experience, you will find it here.

Lovely place and Irma is a fantastic host! We were unlucky with the weather and as a result we had issues with the water supply. These were out of Irma's control and she did her best to keep us updated. Taxi ride into town but not a walkable distance. Lovely touches including fresh bread, milk and eggs. Stove was already lit on arrival and she left us with a plentiful supply of peat briquettes. Thanks Irma
Conor2020-02-22T00:00:00ZGreat experience & fab host! Thank you Irma! A much needed peaceful retreat!
Niamh2020-02-19T00:00:00ZIrma is such an incredible host, the place is everything you can hope for a retreat location and it will instantly feel like a home. We will definitely come back soon enough for another staycation!
Samuel2020-02-16T00:00:00ZIrma's place offers a great opportunity to unwind in a peaceful setting. The stove was lit for our arrival and wheaten bread was waiting on the side, which created a very warm and welcoming feel. While most sites do take a bit of driving, Croagh Patrick and Westport are both just 10 minutes away by car. Reaching the bathroom does require stepping outside for a brief moment, but given the wooded surroundings this was not a bad thing for us.
Marc2020-01-26T00:00:00ZGreat place for anyone looking for a quiet residence with pubs and restaurants not far away
T.J.2020-01-23T00:00:00ZA fantastic, unique experience. The property is located in a rural setting but is within easy access of westport Town. It is compact but has everything you need. The outside shower and toilet was unexpected! The early morning sunrise was beautiful to watch from the bed. Irma the host is most welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here to experience the beauty of this place. We will be back in the future.
Dani2020-01-19T00:00:00ZIn a splendid setting, a magnificent cabin nestled in a quiet location. Impeccable cleanliness.
Annlyse2020-01-18T00:00:00ZThis is such a lovely cosy space nestled deep in the countryside of the west of Ireland. A great space to escape. Irma is a wonderful and responsive host. The Hexagon is very warm and cosy when the stove is on and the views are fantastic. Highly recommend visiting here and we will definitely try and return.

Very cosy cottage with great views.
Simon2020-03-09T00:00:00ZThe accommodation was just perfect for us! Cant wait to come back again during the summer!
Cassandra2020-03-08T00:00:00ZWe came back again - and enjoyed it just as much. Can’t give higher praise than returning. The location and amazing homemade scones were highlights!
Robert2020-03-07T00:00:00ZCute cottage, beautiful views. Sanchia was very welcoming, brought over some of the fresh scones she was baking when we arrived.
Brianna2020-03-05T00:00:00ZSuch a gorgeous gorgeous retreat, with avoca village being a cute nearby village. The host was very hospitable and friendly and the wood fire stove was the nicest touch
Kevin2020-02-29T00:00:00ZIf you have a chance to stay here, definitely do it! The views are spectacular and the cottage is absolutely perfect. Wildlife is all around - we loved watching the rabbits and ducks frolicking about. Caught sight of a fox and a number of pheasants. We were welcomed with some scones and jam and firewood for the night. Such a cost spot...we hope to stop in again, but next time stay longer...thank you Sanchia!
Shanan2020-02-28T00:00:00ZStunning scenery and wonderful host! As everyone says Sanchia’s freshly made warm scones were incredible!! Everyone was so friendly during our stay in Ireland and Sanchia was so helpful when we got in a pickle. Shame we couldn’t have stayed longer, definitely recommend this stay.
Sophie2020-02-24T00:00:00ZStunning views, cosy woodburning stove, TV and wifi make this the perfect retreat. The cottage is almost better in foul weather. Being perched atop a valley in a storm with wood crackling in the stove is about as good as it gets.

A must stop on your trip to Ireland. Abbeyglen Castle has a charm all its own made even more spectacular by the staff that is there to spoil you. Included in your stay is afternoon tea and biscuits along with a 6:30 champagne reception (more than one glass too!). Includes light appetizers while they tell you about the history of the place and what to do and see in Connemara county. The story telling is fantastic. After, you go up stairs to dinner for a delicious four courses (49 E.U. pp) or al la carte (based on menu prices). They take your picture during dinner and give that to you as a gift via their complements. It is not your normal hotel food. It is exquisitely paired. Good wine list. Highly recommend the fish chowder, beef or duck. Best ending is a table full of homemade deserts and cheeses. But the night is not over, back down to the bar for an interactive piano bar where you can sing the night away to Irish and top hit piano tunes. In the morning they have more like a brunch for breakfast with so many options to choose from included in your room price. The staff remembers who you are and if you are celebrating an event throughout your stay which is very nice. For groups they have a wonderful sitting room to enjoy. There are several fireplaces throughout. Enjoy a walking path, helicopters pads, and tennis court. The room itself is as pictured in an almost an “attic” or “dormer” area in the castle. There are stairs (one to two steps) up and down to it. It is a small room, but so quaint. The bed was the best bed we had in Ireland with wonderful sheets. The bathroom decent but the tub may be a challenge to climb in and out as they have a step stool and bars to help you. They include water (still and sparkling) along with all the amenities. There are plenty of towels and extras. It was a wonderful day/night here. Our only regret is we didn’t book for longer. A must on your list for Ireland. Next time we will stay a full two days to really enjoy!
Aaron And Tricia2020-03-14T00:00:00ZBrian upgraded us from the economy room to a regular room when he realized that we wouldn’t get any sleep right up the staircase due to a party downstairs. We were able to get a restful night’s sleep and to recover from an ankle injury. We participated in the afternoon and evening gatherings and learned about the Clifden area. The included breakfast was delicious and the staff was top notch. The hotel and grounds were immaculate and the surrounding area was breathtaking. I would stay here again without reservations.
Leanne2020-03-01T00:00:00ZThis was a highlight of our honeymoon! Drinks and live music at the bar in the evening was a wonderful end to our travels that day. Hopefully when we visit Ireland in the future we can stay for longer here.
Gayle2020-02-27T00:00:00ZSmaller, cheap room in a four-star hotel that exudes grandeur. Very welcoming reception, library, afternoon tea with scones and later a glass of bubbles: you are an ordinary guest - only in the old driver's rooms. A bit noisy here and there, but otherwise: recommended!
Ferdi2020-02-17T00:00:00ZAn incredible atmosphere in the castle . So warm and welcoming. The room is small but an enormously comfy bed, and delighted to see there was a bath. A very, very cosey stay
Vicky2019-12-30T00:00:00ZThe room is tiny but delightful and very tasteful. The shower was huge and exactly what I wanted. Do not miss an opportunity to stay in this enchanting castle.
Peter2019-12-28T00:00:00ZThis was an extremely nice hotel with upscale furnishings and finishes. This room is one of the smallest rooms beneath the nicer rooms but still allows for guests to explore a beautiful castle and experience the amenities on a budget!
Chris2019-12-21T00:00:00ZExcellent value for what you're paying! Room is quite small but this is accurately described in the room's Airbnb description. Lovely stay overall!

Chalet was full of character. Wish we'd stayed longer.
John2020-03-14T00:00:00ZTony’s place is incredible. The eco chalet has everything you could need and is in the most beautiful off the beaten path location. Highly recommend staying in the Beara peninsula with Tony for a few days so you can truly explore. I would love to come back one day. The space is super warm and cozy, which is perfect for windy March nights. It had the perfect mini kitchen and all the books you could ask for to keep you entertained. Loved meeting the pets and wandering around the area. They also had excellent recommendations for walking paths and nearby areas to explore.
Ellen2020-03-11T00:00:00ZA perfect cosy place to stay tucked away in the inspirational rugged Beara landscape, loved it!
Fiona2020-03-08T00:00:00ZWe had such a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage. It is so cosy and comfy and lovely, I wished I could stay forever. Honestly the perfect place to come back to after exploring this stunning part of the world. Definitely hope to return one day, thank you for having us.
Maisie2020-03-02T00:00:00ZAmazing wee chalet in a beautiful location, stayed for 1 night and wish I could have stayed longer, 10/10
Ethan2020-03-01T00:00:00ZAbsolutely beautiful area. So many fun things in the area and absolutely beautiful. The chalet is great and super cozy and has everything you need. Such pretty views. 10/10 would recommend.
Stefan2020-02-29T00:00:00ZBeautiful location, lovely host and a very cosy cabin. Couldn't ask for more

Right on the farm, also very private! Everything lovely and clean and only a few minutes away from the town, would recommend!
Michalea2020-03-08T00:00:00ZJohn and his family made us feel very welcome in their beautiful pod. He took time to explain all of the local points of interest and made sure we were comfortable. The pod is cosy, well furnished and in a lovely location. Definitely recommend!
Conor2020-03-07T00:00:00ZDon’t let the size fool you, you’ll have EVERYTHING you need at the hideaway! This was the first Airbnb that I personally felt as comfortable as I do at home. Boyle had the best food in Ireland and it was the most affordable as well. If you want a host that has a well planned out selection of things to do, this is where your heart will be!
Claire2020-02-21T00:00:00ZSpent a nice Valentine's weekeend in this cozy cabin during storm Dennis. Great place, great host, and completely warm! Also, since we didn't have a car the hosts came to pick up and drop us at the train station. Thanks John!
Zackary2020-02-16T00:00:00ZReally enjoyed the location, the reception and the cabin. I'll recommend the experience to anyone and everyone..
Gerhard2020-02-09T00:00:00ZJohn's accommodation loved it. The indications to the place were very precise. The cabin is very cozy and John and his family are very hospitable. Everything was spotless and they even left us some homemade snacks. 100% recommendable.
Airam2020-02-03T00:00:00ZJohn was very accommodating and helpful! Great host 👍
Brendan2020-02-01T00:00:00ZJohn and his family were marvellous hosts. The check-in time was flexible, they gave us lots of information and local recommendations of bits to do, and they provided nice, thoughtful touches like the scones. We would definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing break and a de-stress. The wooden cabin was quirky and different to the usual place we would stay in! It was also very handy for cheap accommodation in driving distance of Sligo. Big thanks to John and the family!
